Description: I. A massed pile of some hundreds of very long gas cylinders. More cylinders arrive by lorry and are rolled down onto the stack by men in uniform, either naval or munitions. II. A spherical balloon with basket (non-military type) rising against a dramatic sky (film disfigured). III. Men, again possibly naval, testing a commercial tractor with three driving tracks in triangular configuration by driving it up a spoil bank and over rough ground.
Jumbled film of men of the Royal Navy stacking gas cylinders and testing a caterpillar tractor, interspersed with a balloon in flight. All probably in Britain during the First World War.
